It’s about that time again. I haven’t done a taking stock post all year! Can you believe that? Sigh, this blog reboot was clearly much needed. So much to take stock of these past few months, I’ll just combine it all into one post.
End of summer vibes people! How are you doing? Hope well and taking in the very last rays of the sun before fall descends upon us here in Europe in a few weeks. To those back home in Kenya I’m sure you’re just counting down the days to the end of the cold season there, and I’ll be home soon too so guess I get a double summer this year, whoop! Anyway, that aside, let’s see what the past month has been like…
Can you say hibernation??? Or hermit? Because that is exactly what I have been for the past two months – a hermit in hibernation. Sorry for the long silence but I was in full on study mode getting my dissertation done. I have done nothing but write, design, research, write and design some more for eight weeks straight. I’m finally done though, submitted my project yesterday and now I don’t know what to do with myself haha.
Are all of you as sad as I am to see May come to an end? This has been quite a fun-filled month for me and now that I’m knee-deep into my dissertation, no more fun for a good one and a half months till I complete this project… Sigh. Almost there, I can see the light at the end of this academic tunnel.
It’s been more than a minute folks and I apologize for the silence. School had me super caught up and I had no time to even read for pleasure leave alone blog. BUT… Finally on Easter break and catching up with everything I have missed out on in the past two months or so. Let’s take some stock shall we?:)
Valentine’s day is just around the corner and all the stores are decked out in red to celebrate. This holiday is one of my least favourite holidays. And this is actually because I have never understood why people should go the extra mile to celebrate love on just one day out of the year. Love should be celebrated fully every single day don’t you think?
Brunch is the genius combination of breakfast and lunch – not such a wild guess right? Yeah well, I take excitement in word puns. I also take excitement in all things breakfast related, I really love breakfast food so next to breakfast, brunch is my second favourite type of eating experience.
Three more days till 2016!! Can you smell January already? So ready for another year filled with promise and opportunity, 2015 imma let you finish but 2016 is probably going to be the best year I’ll have… Just putting it out there.
