What’s a good Mother’s day without a great brunch accompanying it?? Still mother’s day but just work with me here.
‘A real woman must always do the things she wants to do, and in her own time too. You must never allow yourself to be rushed into doing things you’re not ready for’ – Bonanle
Picture this: A cozy sofa, with the cutest yet basic fabric and pillows, vintage white outdoor cafe tables – inside, dressed with metal pails with simple succulents growing within them, cozy sisal barn armchairs and floor to ceiling windows giving you all the natural light your Instagram feed will ever need, with views of the greenest flora & fauna – and Spirit by Kwesta ft Wale playing in the background… doesn’t that sound like a perfect day already? All you need is a good book or your laptop and a cup of freshly roasted coffee and you can disappear from the world for hours.
The wanderlust bug has bit me hard in 2018, travelling is literally all I think about and work towards nowadays. Took a quick little trip up to the leafy areas of Central Kenya, Nanyuki town in particular.
‘No one is bad with names. That is not a real thing. Not knowing people’s names isn’t a neurological condition; it’s a choice. You choose not to make learning people’s names a priority’ – Mindy Kaling
This is how you lose her – more like this is how you lost me. I usually start my reviews with meaningful or impactful quotes from the book that really intrigued me but I didn’t find any on here…
Another week, another new brunch spot to be discovered!
Major apologies for the delay of this post – I really don’t have anything else to say other than I’m sorry but better late than never right??
Hello prissss…. *insert waving hand emoji* it’s good to be back to writing on this little space of mine, it’s been a good long month and a few weeks of complete unplugging from everything ‘online’. Took a break from the digital world during the lenten period and I must say it’s a great challenge to take especially when you are constantly plugged in. Got a lot of personal work done and lived in the moment more than I normally would but I’m glad to be back online and ready to spam y’all week after week haha, please don’t block me, okay thanks:)
So I just realized for someone who writes so much about travel, I’ve never really shared my travel bucketlist on this blog! I have it written down on my journal and came across it today; five years later… Decided it would be great to share my ambitious goal of visiting an insane number of countries (read every single continent) with you all. Who knows, some of you may want to join me on my #traveltheworldmission.
